Morphing the TriAx generation of figures in DAZ Studio is easier than any previous generation or program, so it's something even a casual user might want to try sometime. Sometimes you will need to access Property Editor on these figures, especially when you want to create your own morphs with adjusted skeletal values. That's when you will find out that doesn't take long to get enough morphs onto your G2F to get her crashing Property Editor on switching tabs, let along G1 with its massive, massive morph list.
Devs inform us on the forum that the newest beta of Studio makes this less of an issue, but meantime, one of the best ways to deal with this is content directory hot-switching.
